Constance M. Sheehan, PhD, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and forensic consultant with over two decades of experience at the intersection of mental health and the legal system. She earned her PhD in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and her Master of Social Work from New York University, where she specialized in clinical practice. She completed a postgraduate interdisciplinary fellowship in palliative care at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in the Bronx, with advanced training in trauma, end-of-life care, and complex medical-psychosocial systems.
Dr. Sheehan has completed extensive postdoctoral training in Interpersonal Neurobiology, mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-informed care. Her clinical framework integrates evidence-based modalities including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR-informed approaches, somatic therapies, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
